Scouting America collects national/council dues when you register. Pack 163 does not control or receive those dues. However, if you have funds available, you may turn in your receipt for reimbursement from your Scout Account.
Our program at Pack 163 is made possible by our annual fundraiser, so please help by participating.
Families who wish to opt-out of the fundraiser may do so for $75 per scout.

Den Leader and Commitee Member dues may be paid for by the Pack; please turn in your receipt for reimbursement. However, if you are able and willing, you are welcome to help support the Pack by paying your own leader dues.

Your Scout Account is a portion of the Pack's bank account that is designated for your family. Scout Account funds can be used for any Pack/Den purpose (other than uniforms/merchandise): dues, campouts, outtings, activities, etc.
You earn money for your Scout Account by exceeding your Fundraiser Goal.
See your balance anytime on Scoutbook. It will be attached to your family's youngest registered scout.
For Webelos crossing over to a troop (when there are no younger scouts in the Pack), any remaining funds in their PACK account may be transferred upon request to their new TROOP account. Accounts for families that leave Scouting will be reabsorbed into the Pack.
The fundraiser target* per family is: $200 (1st scout); +$175 (2nd scout); +$150 (each additional scout).
For every $ of product sold above that goal, scouts earn 20% for their Scout Account.
Thanks to our volunteer leaders, our entire program is funded through our sales goals. This pays for both registration with BSA and for all awards, badges, pins, belt loops, food, activities, trophies, etc.
* Some older scouts have national/council dues paid by the pack (becuase that was the historical process). Higher goals apply to those scouts.
Money should be taken from customers at the time of order. Each scout will owe the total when order forms are handed in. Please convert any cash or electronic payments into a check.
