COST
Pack 163 asks that each scout to participate in the annual fundraiser(s). If each scout sells 10-20 boxes of microwave popcorn, we should have enough to meet our costs.
See Fundraising / Dues for more info.
UNIFORM & MATERIALS
Our Pack does not have strict uniform requirements. We recommend:
A Scout shirt
The blue shirt for grades 1, 2, & 3
UP-SIZE! You can keep wearing the blue shirt in grades 4 & 5 if it still fits
The tan shirt for grades 4 & 5

Scouts in Kindergarten can get the Lion t-shirt if desired (but not required)
HAND-ME-DOWN! Feel free to pass shirts down to younger siblings.
A neckerchief & slide (grades 1-5)
The generic yellow is fine, but you can get the rank-specific version if you want

DON’T SPEND EXTRA:
Kindergarten through 3rd grade awards can go on a belt, but it’s not required, and any belt is fine.
Scout pants/skirt/hat/socks/etc. are not required.
VOLUNTEERS
Our Pack is completely volunteer run, and we rely on adults to contribute and participate.
Adults bring your Scout to meetings.
Everyone is encouraged to stay for meetings, but Lion/Tiger parents are required to.
The Pack has a monthly meeting or activity.
Siblings are welcome at Pack meetings and events.
Dens (by grade level) may meet more frequently, as scheduled by each den.
Please encourage and model good behavior.
Adults are expected to volunteer in at least one way during the year.
Please let us know if you have any specific interests.
Possible options:
Assistant Cubmaster (for leading Pack meetings)
Assistant Den Leaders (for leading your grade)
Committee member (to plan and coordinate)
Event coordinator
